The day is designed so that teachers may gain a fuller understanding of the ways in which cancer sufferers may be helped by simple yoga practices & the role yoga can play in the healing process. Teachers will also be encouraged to develop some appreciation of the profound physical & emotional changes a life-changing disease can bring about, & the role yoga & the yoga teacher can play in supporting this process of transformation.
